Matters needing attention in starting Yuchai generator set at room temperature;1. Yuchai generator set can be started smoothly at an ambient temperature of not less than 0 degrees.2. Push the joystick of the fuel injection pump governor to no-load speed, which is about 700 rpm.3. Turn on the electric key and press the start button to start the diesel engine. If the engine cannot be started within 5 seconds, release the button immediately and start it for the second time after 2 minutes. If the engine fails to start three times in a row, stop starting, find out the reason, eliminate the fault, and then start again.4. After the Yuchai generator set is successfully started, release the button immediately and return the electric key to the center position. We should pay attention to the readings of each instrument, especially the oil pressure gauge. The reading should be greater than 147kPa(l.5kgf/cm2). Then, the unit should work at the speed of 600-750r/min for a period of time, and check whether the work of each part of the unit is normal. For example, you can feel the movement of the moving parts of the valve train with your fingers.
